About Heirloom Orchards

 

Our farm and packing facility are located at 2380 Highway 35 in Hood River OR, 97031.

 

Heirloom Orchards produces pears, apples, blueberries and cherries in the Hood River Valley.

 

David Evans Farming, Inc. does business as "Heirloom Orchards" and is a family operated farming enterprise owned by David and Polly Evans.

 

 

Heirloom Apples:

We believe we have the most extensive commercial heirloom apple program in the Northwest. We grow, pack and ship over 20 varieties of apples from September through December. Our Fir Mountain Road orchard will be "Certified Organic" for the Fall 2011 crop.

Pears:

We produce over 200,000 cartons of famous Hood River pears. Our pears are packed at our on-farm facility and marketed through Sage Fruit in Yakima, Washington.

 

Cherries:

We specialize in late season cherries: Skeena, Rainier, Regina, and Sweetheart, harvesting late July through mid-August.
